How to Find Hunt Country Yarns
Just about an hour west of downtown Washington, DC, in the middle of Virginia's scenic
and historic Hunt Country, Hunt Country Yarns is easy to find, and convenient to
Washington, Dulles International Airport, and the lovely Shenandoah Valley and
Blue Ridge Mountains. On the way to the store you'll pass fields and pastures,
and lovely old homes and barns. There are plenty of inns, restaurants, and bed
and breakfasts in our area, and more historic sites than we can count.

From Washington, DC, take Route 66 West to exit 31. At the off ramp turn right and drive into The Plains. We are located at the intersection of Main Street (Route 55) and Fauquier Ave (Route 245). Free street parking and parking is available behind the store (access from Bragg Street).
From Dulles Airport, take Route 28 south to Route 66 West, and follow the
directions above.
From the West, follow Route 50 into Middleburg and turn right at The Plains road (Route 626). Or from Route 66, take the exit for The Plains (exit 31) and turn left onto Fauquier Avenue.
Hours of Operation
Open Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 10am-5pm,
Thursday 10 am-7pm, Sunday 11-5pm.
Closed Monday and Tuesday.
