   Hunt Country Yarns is your yarn store: Here you'll find a terrific variety and selection of all your favorite needle and fiber art supplies, plus new, exciting products you'll just have to try.

   We put a lot of effort into making sure everything in our store is well-organized and displayed to make your visit convenient, fun, and inspiring.

   Many of our projects are available in kits, and we always have lots of store models to excite your imagination.

Knowledgeable, Personal Service

   Whatever your skill level (beginner to expert), and whatever your budget, we'll give you a warm country welcome.

   We take care of special orders (from our regular vendors) with a smile. If we've never heard of it, we'll try to find it! We're glad to ship your order to you by mail or express delivery.

   For your convenience, we offer a regular program of workshops and classes, and are open on Thursday nights til 7 pm.

In the Heart of Virginia's Famous Hunt Country

   If you've never visited Virginia Hunt Country, you'll be enchanted by our beautiful country location in a charming country village.

   The Plains features antique and specialty stores, and we hope you'll stay for dinner, or better yet stay for a weekend. We're surrounded by Civil War sites, close to the Shenandoah Valley, and convenient to many equine (horse) events held in the area.

   Hunt Country Yarns is the best of both worlds: We're close to Washington, DC, and Dulles Airport but we're a world away!
